Recently I had the tremendous opportunity to attend the Resuscitation Conference hosted by the American Heart Association in Orlando, FL.  During the conference many resuscitation studies were shared and have tremendous implications with the CPR guidelines and skills we currently use.  There is always room for improvements and these studies show us how.

We often tend to think that the current way of performing skills and our beliefs about resuscitation and resuscitation training are correct.  Thank goodness for the scientists, researchers, and frontline rescuers brave enough to try new things and save more lives.

Thank you to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba for their support.
